As a youngster, Chris Hargett had a love for music. This love of music drew him into having a passion for wanting to play the drums.
When Chris was only 5 years old he would play along to records with his toy drum set for hours on end. During his school years, Chris' talents grew, but he never joined the High School Band. Instead, Chris woodsheaded and played along with his records.
After High School, Chris started performing in various local bar bands. Slowly, Chris started making a name for himself as one of finest drummers in his hometown area.
In the summer of 1993, Chris ablilties came to the attention of Inside/Out's Jeff Perkins. It was during that time period that Inside/Out's original drummer, Scott Marye, decided to quite the group, while the band was on an overseas tour of the South Pacific. Through a long distance call from the Island of Guam, Chris was asked to audition for the soon to be vacant spot. When Inside/Out returned home from their tour, the band met with Chris. From the first note the band clicked as a unit, and Chris Hargett bacame a member of The Inside/Out Band.
